enXco agrees 20-year PPA for 140MW California wind farm

Wind developer enXco has agreed a 20-year power purchase agreement with the San Diego Gas & Electric Company for a 140-megawatt wind farm to be built in Southern California.

enXco, part of French power company EDF Energies Nouvelles, will develop, build, and own the Pacific Wind Project, which is still subject to regulatory approval.

It is expeced to be operational in late 2011/early 2012.
