Biofuel company OPX Biotechnologies, Inc., has been awarded a $6 million grant for the development of advancement biofuels by the US Department of Energy’s Advanced Research Project Agency – Energy.
The company based in Boulder, Colorado, is one of 37 institutions given funding (see this BrighterEnergy.org story).
OPX said it is working with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and Johnson Matthey Catalysts on a new process to convert hydrogen and carbon dioxide into diesel and jet fuel products.
