South Dakota Senate approves ethanol fuel pump grant program

March 9, 2010

The South Dakota Senate unanimously passed a Bill last week to set up a grant program for the installation of ethanol-blend fuel pumps in the state. Funded using $1 million in federal economic stimulus funds, the program will see grants of up to $10,000 per project issued between April 1 and May 28, 2010. House Bill 1192 still awaits signature from South Dakota Governor Mike Rounds, but has been passed by the House of Representatives.
