Milwaukee adopts solar panel loan scheme for homeowners

The City of Milwaukee has become the latest to establish a solar power loan program funded out of homeowners’ property taxes. Residents taking advantage of the scheme will be able to generate energy at their homes without the fear of upfront costs, paying off the expenses over a 15-year period – money they can save through lower energy costs.
