September 9, 2010

The 40 kW, ballasted rooftop solar array from AEG Power Solutions should generate 52,000 kWh of energy a year

North Carolina State University has had a 40-kilowatt solar array installed on its newly-built Keystone Science Center.

The system has been installed on the rooftop of the 15,000 square foot building at the university’s Centennial Campus, which is to house the Future Renewable Electric Energy Delivery and Management (FREEDM) systems center.

It was installed by Dallas-based turn-key commercial solar provider AEG Power Systems.
