Recovery Act funds Wisconsin ethanol plant upgrade

August 27, 2010

Wisconsin company Ace Ethanol is to receive $595,000 in Recovery Act funds to help expand its operations in Stanley.

The funds were awarded this week by the State Energy Program, supporting an $8500,000 upgrade project for Wisconsin’s first large-scale ethanol plant.

The dry mill currently producers more than 40 million gallons of ethanol each year. The upgrade will help retain 40 jobs.
