Colorado National Guard installs 172kW solar array

Colorado’s Army National Guard has installed a new 172-kilowatt solar power array at its Readiness Center in Grand Junction.
The facility was installed by local firm Bella Energy, and is expected to offset 450,000 pounds of carbon emissions.
It will help toward Colorado Army National Guard’s goal of generating its own power by 2030.
