CNA offers insurance for renewable energy contractors

The country’s seventh largest commercial insurance writer has launched a new insurance program for renewable energy contractors.
Chicago-based CNA said its new program is designed for non-residential wind, solar and geothermal heat pump construction projects.
Insurance is being offered to contractors who erect or service land-based metal wind turbines, install or service solar power systems, or who provide geothermal drilling operations down to 150 feet.
