Deadline extended for DOE loan guarantee applications

Clean energy projects have six extra weeks to apply for the US Department of Energy loan guarantee program, as issued back in July 2009.
The DOE has extended the application deadline for its energy efficiency, renewable energy and advanced transmission and distribution technologies solicitation to October 5, 2010.
It said extending the deadline could mean supporting more projects. The Part II deadline remains December 31, 2010.
