Lime Energy to make LA transit authority more efficient

Lime Energy, the Chicago-based energy efficiency specialists have been hired to make the Los Angeles County Metro Transit Authority more efficient.
It will refurbish interior lighting and install energy efficiency lighting in parking lots and outdoor areas, as well as providing an constant power supply system.
The new system will use UPS batteries to meet emergency loads in the event of power failures.
