SunPower Corporation has completed a one-megawatt solar power system at the Yolo County Justice Campus in Woodland, California.
The facility is owned by Yolo County and financed by Bank of America bonds subsidized by the Recovery Act, along with a 15-year loan from the California Energy Commission (see this BrighterEnergy.org story).
It is expected to achieve $8.8 million in energy cost savings over the next 25 years.
