RMT to build 30MW wind farm on Oahu

Wisconsin company RMT, Inc., has been selected to engineer and built the 30MW Kahuku wind farm on the island of Oahu, Hawaii.
Construction got underway earlier this month (see this BrighterEnergy.org story), and the project developed by First Wind is expected to be complete by the end of 2010.
RMT previously built First Wind’s wind farm in Milford, Utah. The Kahuku project will use 12 Clipper Liberty 2.5MW wind turbines.
