15% solar discount available for Philadelphia homeowners

Philadelphia’s first solar group purchase program has been launched, aiming to cut costs for residents to switch to solar power.

San Francisco group purchase specialists One Block Off the Grid is running the scheme with Mercury Solar Systems of Port Chester, New York, until October 19, 2010.

Philadelphia homeowners can receive a 15% discount from standard rates on the program, and could also get zero-down, interest-free financing for 18 months.
