Recovery Act funds weatherization of 11,688 Ohio homes

The state of Ohio has weatherized 11,688 homes under its Recovery Act-funded program – 30% of its targeted homes so far.

Under the $266 million program, a further 32,180 homes are set to gain upgrades to help cut energy consumption.

According to state officials, more than 1,300 workers were employed in the scheme during the first three months of this year.
