Wind developer NextEra secures $78m loan to finance future growth

NextEra Energy Resources subsidiary Peace Garden Wind Funding has secured a $78 million to pay off debts from its development of 170MW of wind projects in North Dakota.

The company based in Juno Beach, Florida, said its loan will be paid off with quarterly payments over five years.

Capital freed up by the arrangement will now be redeployed for future growth.
